This video promises exclusive interviews, new footage, and a full walkthrough of one of the game quests. The journey towards the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has not been an easy one for Ukrainian studio GSC Game World. The team has had to overcome various obstacles, including the recent invasion of Ukraine by Russia. This unfortunate event forced the studio to relocate its staff from Kyiv to Prague, adding further delays to the game’s development. Additionally, the studio has had to deal with the theft and release of early development materials by Russian hacking groups.

Tragically, the team behind S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 also suffered the loss of one of their own. Designer Volodymyr Yezhov, known for his work on the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, was killed while bravely defending the city of Bakhmut as a volunteer soldier. His dedication and sacrifice serve as a reminder of the challenges faced by the team in bringing this game to life.
